Who is Kelsey Witherspoon?

I am a life-long learner whose natural curiosity for the world around me led to a career in UX Research. My UX Research journey began at Capsule, an online pharmacy changing the way customers receive their medications. At Capsule, I built out a user research function under the Insights team to inform decisions to improve and iterate on Capsule’s product.  I specialize in user interviews and surveys but also have experience with focus groups, usability studies, and quantitative analysis (SQL, Looker, Excel).

Outside of work, there are a few important things to know about me:

• As an outdoors addict, I’m an avid hiker, runner, and skier. I need a fresh dose of nature at least once a week to keep me going.

• I lived in Shenzhen, China for 2 years as an English teacher in a public elementary school and speak some Mandarin Chinese. I credit this experience with piquing my interest in the behavior of those around me.
